Half Day Lock Creek Paddle (1-2PP)

Service Description

Anderson Landing ramp launch in Suwannee, FL, then through local canals to Lock Creek, then returning to Anderson Landing ramp. A safe / beginner level paddle requiring basic navigational skills. Maps provided, along with requisite safety equipment. This tour follows a network of scenic lower Suwannee back creeks within the 53,000 acre Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge. These tidal creeks are home to a plethora of bird, reptile, and aquatic species. Most channels are partially shaded by overhanging bald cypress, water elm, and various additional native trees.
